Welcoming 2010

I am looking forward to this coming year and how it will unfold. What many-hued flower will it become? One thing is sure: we don't know. Each special petal will come into view when the time is right.

We do have a choice. We can choose to look forward to this year with eager anticipation when we have resolved to turn each of life's inevitable ups and downs into a learning experience in order to deepen our love of Life and to realize the Beauty and Wisdom contained within each moment.

Each new breath that is offered to us is then gladly received as another opportunity to remember, appreciate, and love the gift of life that we have been given.

In what way will each of us add to the beauty of the many-hued flower of which this year will become?
